How it works
BenchtopQuote helps you find benchtop manufacturers who work in your area and contact the one you choose. You do not need an account.
1. Find
Enter your suburb or postcode and choose your place from the list. Some postcodes cover several suburbs, so we ask you to pick yours rather than guess. You will see the participating manufacturers whose service areas include that place.
Service areas are supplied by each manufacturer and reviewed for completeness. They are not a measure of distance: a business further away may serve you while a closer one does not.
Results are listed alphabetically by business name. The order is not a ranking, and nobody pays to appear higher. You can narrow the list by material and by the services you need.
2. Explore
Each profile shows what the business chose to publish and we reviewed: an introduction, the materials it works with, the services it offers, its service areas and, where it has published them, photos of its own work and ways to contact it.
3. Enquire with one business
When you are ready, send a project enquiry to one business. The form names that business before you type anything, and you tick a box to agree to share your enquiry and contact details with them. Your enquiry goes only to that business: it is not shared with others, used for marketing or sold. To contact another business, send it a separate enquiry.
4. Confirm your email
We email you a link to confirm your address. Opening the link does not send anything: you press a button to confirm. Only then is your enquiry recorded in the business's workspace. If the business has stopped taking enquiries by then, nothing is sent to it or to anyone else, and we tell you so; we never pass your enquiry to a different business.
5. After you send
The business replies to you directly, using the details you gave. We cannot say when, and an enquiry is not a booking or a quote. On the device where you confirmed, your enquiry page shows its status, lets you add plans or photos where that is available, and lets you withdraw it.
Withdrawing stops any more handling through this site and marks the enquiry as withdrawn for the business. It cannot recall what the business has already received, such as your contact details or files it downloaded; to ask it to delete those, contact the business directly.
Independent businesses
Manufacturers in the directory are independent businesses. Being listed means a business has chosen to join and its profile has been reviewed before publication; it is not an endorsement, an inspection or a check of the quality of its work. There are no ratings or reviews on this site.
